The problem
A live website is never finished
After launch, a website keeps changing even when nobody touches it. WordPress, plugins, PHP and the server all move to new versions, certificates expire, and a site nobody watches tends to fail quietly: a form stops sending, a payment stalls, the browser shows a warning.
Most of these problems are cheap to prevent and expensive to discover late. Maintenance turns them into a routine: I check and update the site on a schedule, and when something needs to change, you write to the same person.
The packages below make that routine explicit: what is included, how quickly I respond and, just as clearly, what is not included.
What gets built
A maintenance routine,
not emergency firefighting
Every package covers the same four areas. What changes between them is depth: how often, how much is watched and how quickly I respond.
-
Updates
WordPress core, themes, plugins and Laravel packages updated, then checked on the live site instead of assumed to work.
-
Monitoring
Automatic checks for uptime, speed and security, depending on the package, that alert me when something changes.
-
Hours for changes
A monthly allowance for smaller changes: replacing the text and images you send, a new page from an existing template, a plugin setting. Unused hours carry over to the next month.
-
Agreed response time
A set window in which I reply to a reported problem: 48, 24 or 8 business hours, depending on the package.
Engagement
From handover
to a steady routine
Maintenance starts with knowing the site. The first step establishes what is actually running, and after that the work follows a steady monthly rhythm.

What is not included

- Redesign and new features beyond the package hours, which are estimated separately

- Third-party costs such as hosting, the domain and premium plugin or theme licences
- Cleaning up a site that was already compromised before maintenance started
- Marketing work: SEO campaigns, advertising and social media
Before we begin
Maintenance questions,
without the small print
Maintenance works when both sides know where it starts and where it stops. These answers cover what usually comes up before an agreement.
Yes. Before taking a site on, I review its code, plugins, hosting and access. If something needs fixing first, you hear about it before the first month begins, together with an estimate.
It depends on how often the site changes and what an hour of downtime costs you. A brochure site usually fits Basic, an active business site Standard, and a store or a site that earns directly Premium.
Additional work is agreed separately, based on an estimate.
They carry over to the next month. If they are not used then either, they expire, so hours do not pile up.
No. It is the time within which I reply and start investigating, counted in business hours. How long the fix takes depends on the cause, and I tell you what I have found as soon as I know it.
WordPress, WooCommerce and Laravel, the same stack I build with. On stores, every update is followed by a check of the parts that matter most: cart, checkout and order emails.
New engagement
Make the website one less thing to worry about
Send the address of the site and what worries you about it. I will suggest the package that fits, or tell you if none does.
