The problem
A slow or unreliable website rarely has a single cause. It is usually a mix of heavy pages, outdated plugins, loose access and a hosting setup nobody has looked at in years, and each symptom points somewhere different.
Without a diagnosis, the usual answers are a rebuild or another plugin. An audit replaces the guesswork with a written picture of what is actually wrong and the order in which to fix it.
It is also the simplest way to start working together: a fixed scope, a clear result and no commitment to whatever comes next.
What gets built
The audit covers five areas of the same site. Every finding comes with its cause, its impact and a recommended fix.
LCP, INP and CLS measured on real pages, with the specific files, scripts and server responses that hold them back.
Core, plugin and package versions, known vulnerabilities, user accounts, access and the basics of server configuration.
Indexing, meta tags, sitemap, redirects, canonical URLs and structured data, checked against what search engines actually see.
Theme and custom code quality, plugin load, PHP version, caching, backups and the hosting it all runs on.
Findings ranked by priority, each with a recommended fix, followed by a call where I take you through them.
Engagement
The audit follows a fixed sequence, so you know what happens, what I need from you and what you receive at the end.
01 Access
Agree the scope. The site, the questions behind the audit and the access the review requires.
02 Measure
Review the site. Speed, security, technical SEO, code and hosting, checked one area at a time.
03 Report
Write down the findings. Each issue with its cause, its impact and a fix, ranked by priority.
04 Walk through
Explain the findings. A call where I take you through the report, answer questions and help decide what comes first.

Package limits
Before we begin
An audit is useful only when its limits are clear. These answers set out what it is, what it is not and what happens after it.
Because a consultation without access to the site stays general. An audit looks at your actual code, plugins and server, so the conversation afterwards is about facts rather than possibilities.
No. The audit ends with the report and the call. You can then fix the issues with me, with your current developer or in-house, and the report is written so that any competent developer can act on it.
Usually an administrator account, hosting or server access and, where it exists, Search Console. The exact list is agreed before the audit starts, and you can remove the access as soon as it ends.
WordPress, WooCommerce and Laravel sites, where I can review the source code as well as the output. If your site runs on another platform, ask first and I will tell you what the audit can cover.
You keep the report and decide what to do with it. If you want me to carry out the fixes, I estimate them from the report. If not, the audit stands on its own.
