Website redesign
Service 06
- Best suited to
- A site that has aged but works
- Typical scope
- From review to cut-over
- Built for
- Speed and fearless editing
- Platform
- WordPress / WooCommerce
Starting at
EUR 1,600
The starting price is above a new site's because it includes the review of the current one, the content migration and the redirect map. A store redesign, a larger site or a move off Wix, Shopify or a page builder usually lands between EUR 3,500 and 8,000.
The price range is indicative and not a quote. Depending on the scope and details of the project, the final price may be higher.
The problem
An old site costs more than its looks
A site from a few years ago usually carries three problems at once: a look that no longer matches the company, a theme and plugins nobody dares to update, and a slowness no caching plugin fixes. Fixing one breaks another.
A redesign that only changes the colours solves none of that. So I redo both the design and the base under it, and carry the pages, products and URLs Google already knows across so that no ranking is lost.
What gets built
A new site at the addresses search already knows
Design and technical base change together, and content and URLs move by plan, so the switch goes through without a drop in traffic.
-
Review of the current site
Content, structure, plugins, speed and rankings: what stays, what changes, what is retired.
-
A new design system
Typography, colour, components and page templates applied across every content type and screen size.
-
Content migration
Pages, articles, products and images moved and cleaned up, with editing built for your team instead of a page builder.
-
Redirect map
Every old URL leads to its new one with a permanent (301) redirect, checked in Search Console after launch.
-
Cut-over without downtime
A trial launch, speed, accessibility and security checks, then the domain switch at an agreed time.
Boundaries
What is not included
- New copy and photography: you supply the content
- Hosting, domain and premium plugin licence costs
- Maintenance after launch, which is a separate monthly plan
Engagement
From what is there to the site you would build today
The current site is the starting point, not an obstacle: what works stays, what holds you back is replaced by plan.

Before we begin
Questions before a redesign, without guesswork
The usual worries are rankings, content and downtime. These answers cover what the first meeting tends to ask.
The core is the same: a design system, a new WordPress base without page builders and editing built for your team. A new site starts from a brief, so the structure and the content are made from nothing. A redesign starts from a site that already works, so it includes the review of what is there, the migration of pages, products and images, the redirect map and a cut-over without downtime. That is why its starting price is a little higher, and its base tier covers up to 15 pages instead of five.
Not if the switch is planned. Every old URL gets a permanent redirect to its new one, page titles and descriptions carry over, and indexing is checked in Search Console during the first week after launch. Short-lived fluctuations are possible; losing pages is not.
Moving to WordPress is a common redesign. Content is exported or moved by hand, URLs are mapped, and the domain switches only once the new site passes every check. In the configurator that is the "moving from another platform" option.
Existing texts, articles, products and images are moved and cleaned up. New copy and photography are not part of a redesign; if you are writing them, the new design is made to take them without rework.
Yes, if the hosting meets the basics: a supported PHP version, HTTPS and enough resources for the speed we measure before launch. If it does not, you get a clear recommendation, with no obligation.
A site redesign usually takes four to six weeks, a store longer. The current site keeps working the whole time: the new one is built at a staging address, and the switch takes minutes, at an agreed time.
New engagement
Your site, the way it would be if we built it today
Send the address of the current site. After a short review you know what carries over, what changes and what it costs.
